New Hope Author: Karon Phillips Goodman

Nationally recognized author Karon Goodman has written 8 books. Her first book for blended families, The Stepmom’s Guide to Simplifying Your Life, won a 2003 Gold National Parenting Publications Award. She is also author of It’s Not My Stepkids—It’s Their Mom!, and the Woman’s Guide series, which has sold more than 200,000 copies. A contributing writer to magazines, Karon Goodman became a stepmom to two boys in September, 1996. She is an Alabama native and is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Oxford, Alabama.
